VINE INN SKINS TOURNAMENT
The finest gathering of lawn bowlers ever assembled in the Barossa did battle at Tiger Park on Sunday 25th of November in the inaugural Vine Inn Skins tournament. B&LBA - BOWLS TIPPING COMPETITION
This year we are running a tipping competition for all grades of the Barossa & Light saturday pennants. Entry is free, and open to anyone. The competition is online based, so join up, login and find out who will be the number 1 tipster. Instructions on how to join and use the online system can be found here. NURIOOTPA WINS 3 PREMIERSHIPS
 The Nuriootpa Bowling Club has won three out of a possible five premierships at the conclusion of the 2006-2007 premiership season.The Division 1 Men, Division 2 (Gold) Men, and the Women Division have taken home the Flag ahead of some fierce competition.

Honourable mentions also go to the DIvision 2 Black Men, who played in the Semi Finals, Division 3 who narrowly missed out in a tight prelim final, Midweek Nuri Green were defeated by Midweek Black in a great semi final, and finally the Midweek Black side who got pipped at the post in the final stages of the midweek Grand Final.

In what was a great season enjoyed by all, the Nuriootpa Bowling Club maintains its success and thanks all its members for making the club not only a sucessful club, but an enjoyable one too! Go Tigers!!!

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES
Congratulatipns to Scott Thulborn, winner of the 2006-07 season Club Singles Championships. Scott then went on to win the Assocation Singles Championship and will now take part in the Regional Singles Championship Event. Well done Scott, and good luck for the next game!

CLUB PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP
Congratulations to Stuart Forbes and Adam Forbes, winners of 06-07 season Club Pairs Championship. In a final that came down to the last end, the Forbes brothers got over the line ahead of the good combination of Ken Wall and Scott Thulborn.

GET ON THE GREEN AREA FINALS
Congratulations to the two Nuri teams that travelled to Hamley Bridge for the GOTG Area Finals. The “Mills Brothers” team represented NBC formidably, losing only one game for the day.. However, the “Disturbed Heads” consisting of Steve Ryan, Ron Ellis, Craig Berndt and skipper Rob Langridge, were the stars of the show, winning all their games and bringing home the Gold Medals. LADIES CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP PAIRS

Congratulations to Denise Baker & Mitzi Elix winning the club pairs championship. In a close game against Pam Jones & Murtle Ianna, the winners go up by a mere 2 shots. Well done to both teams!

CLUB FIRST
At the completion of the first round of the pennant season, Nuriootpa Bowling Club holds top spot in all divisions - both men and women! Well done to all members! In what was another club first, the NBC finished Minor Premiers all divisions!! Good Luck for all the Div 1, 2, 3 Men, Women and Midweek for the finals!
